I am looking to buy an easy point and shoot digital camera with a sync port so I can do some creative lighting shoots. Any information would be great. Thanks.

I have the old Kodak DX6490. It has pc sync port but no hot shoe. The Kodak P850 and Kodak P880 has both pc sync ports and hot shoe. But I don’t know if they are still available in the market. You can check at dpreview.com
There are a few. Things change so fast you will have to search yourself.http://www.dpreview.com
I found one; but it has a hot shoe, not a PC sync port … those seem to have gone the way of the Doo doo.
Digital cameras use trigger flash voltages of less than 12v (6v one Canon’s), so all the newer flash units don’t need to connect to the camera via a port that can stand up to 350v trigger voltages.http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_…
