Case Logic DCB-304 High/Fixed Zoom Camera Case (Black) Review
Based on Amazon reviews I purchased this case along with a Panasonic DMC-FZ35 camera. It works perfectly for me, not too small, and not too large. The camera will fit in sideways, or with the lens side down, or with the body (LCD) side down. Placing the camera with the body side down gives some extra space for storage on either side of the lens although I wouldn’t recommend this because then you would have to remove the stored items before you could get the camera out of the case.
If you carry a lens hood it will fit just fine by simply placing it over the lens in an upside down position. I have stored a lens cleaning cloth and several SD memory cards in the small zippered receptical inside the case on the underside of the top flap. On the two side zippered areas on the outside of the case I have stored the battery charger in one and an extra battery in the other.
There is a narrow padded divider very close to the front wall on the inside of the case next to the main storage area for the camera. It would hold a small note pad or maybe a small camera instruction manual. You could also dump in a supply of memory cards but you would probably have to turn the case upside down and shake them out.
If you are looking to carry various cords, usb cables and so forth then you may want to go to a slightly larger case. If you carry only the camera without extra batteries or the charger you could get by with a slightly smaller case but it would be a snug fit. If you fly a lot or take cruises I would recommend this case because a larger one will take extra space when packing a suitcase.
All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. The only downside I can think of is the fact that the case, although padded, is still not heavily padded and you would not want to drop it with the camera inside.
